FALL GARDEN PREP & PLANT

How to Prepare your Garden for Fall & What We're Planting for this Cool-Season Are you wondering if you should plant a fall garden? We think yes! We love planting cool-season crops because here in #zone9b, leafy-greens, brassicas, and some root vegetables just don't grow during the heat of the summer. Gardening in the fall and winter means more months of providing food for your table. In this video, Lucas shows you how we transition our beds from summer crops to fall veggies and flowers using compost and fertilizer. He also shares why we like to test our soil for NPK levels along with pH and why this is important! If you're curious what we are growing in our garden here in Sacramento, don't worry, we are going to share that with you too. Happy gardening!
